Cookbook Wall

Prior to this cookbook wall, we had a built-in pantry here that came with the house when we bought it. Our kitchen is narrow and losing 2 feet of floor space to the pantry, while great storage, was not ideal. We decided to turn out mudroom off the kitchen into a pantry and demo’ed the built-in cupboards. I opted for the Ikea ledge shelves here so that we could still store and display items, such as cookbooks, without having deep shelves take up space again.
